With July 4th on the horizon, so are many cookouts and drunken shindigs to celebrate our country’s 237th birthday. I have provided a few tasty ideas for shots that are sure to spice up or sweeten up your function. These ideas are not confined to just July 4th events.
4th of July (tall shot)
- 1/2 oz Vodka
- 1/2 oz Blue Curacao
- 1/2 oz Grenadine
The Brautigen
- 1 shot of your favorite Whiskey
- slice of sugar-dipped watermelon to chase
Firecracker (tall shot)
- 1/2 oz Tequila
- 1/2 oz Goldschlagger
- 1/2 oz Peppermint Schnapps
Voodoo
- 1/2 oz Rum Cream
- 1/2 0z Over-proof Rum(150 proof) Wray & Nephew Jamaican Rum
Bob Marley (2 oz shot glass)
- 1/2 oz grenadine
- 1/2 oz banana liqueur
- 1/2 oz mint liqueur
- 1/2 oz Bacardi 151 or Wray & Nephew Jamaican Rum
Honey Dew Me (create in a shaker)
- 2 parts honey liqueur
- 1 part liqueur
- orange juice or pineapple juice
