M.IA. will release her fourth album Matangi on November 5th after a bit of a struggle with her label. It will feature artists such as The Weekend and various producers such as Surkin, Switch, Danja, and Hit-Boy. Her latest single “Y.A.L.A.” (which means You Always Live Again; an obvious allusion to reincarnation and a response to the term “Y.O.L.O.” coined by Drake) won’t leave you disappointed. In light of all of her legal issues (involving the NFL who is attempting to sue her after she gave the middle finger during Madonna’s Super Bowl performance which also featured Nicki Minaj) it’s refreshing to know that she’s still making great music.
