Last night Jimmy Fallon made his debut as the new host of the “Tonight Show” (which had been a position held by Jay Leno for the past 22 years). He began the show with the introduction “I am Jimmy Fallon and I will be your host… for now”, an obvious joke directed at Jay Leno’s infamous reemergence as host after Conan O’Brien’s brief stint. After discussing his childhood and family life he soon progressed into a segment where mentioned a $100 bet that he would never host the “Tonight Show” made with an unnamed friend. What followed was pure comedy as what seemed like an endless stream of celebrities emerged each handing him a $100 bill.
