Following the release of her sultry single “Rover”, Elle Varner delivers “Cold Case” an anti-love song detailing how although her lover has moved on, the new object of his affection will NEVER amount to her. She prefaces the song with a cynical approach to love, from the perspective of someone who has clearly been scorned. When speaking of her as-yet untitled sophomore album, she says that it is “unbelievable” and she must constantly remind herself that it is real. If the rest of the tracks on the album are anything like the last two singles that she’s released, we’re most definitely looking forward to it!
