With the release of Clappers, Wale is bringing back Go-Go. For those who aren’t hip Go-Go is a sub-genre of funk that originated in Washington, DC. (Notable Go-Go artists include Chuck Brown,The Young Senators, Black Heat, Aggression and Brute to name a few). Traditionally, it relies heavily on synthesizers, bass & electric guitar, saxophones, brass instruments and various percussive instruments. With the help of Juicy J and Nicki Minaj, Wale pays homage to women who have the ability to clap their… you get the picture.

Juicy J provides strippers with another song that will allow them to fund their “education” with the release of his new single Bounce It. Once again collaborating with Wale, he also enlists Trey Songz to add some vocals to the fest of ratch-ocity (Yes, it was necessary to create a word). After a song like “Bands a make her dance” I guess there’s nowhere to go but up on the scale of ratchet.
