When it was first announced that Mike Will Made It would be producing a track for Miley Cyrus, it’s safe to assume that nobody truly knew what to expect. However, the end product is something far different than we’re used to from the producer and truly works for Miley. Now with the release of the visuals for We Can’t Stop we are provided with a look at how Miley truly parties in the U.S. (Bad Joke?) Wearing a grill and twerking at various points throughout the video, we are also given several disturbing images such as a simulation of someone cutting off their fingers. Miley even participates in some girl-on-girl action in the pool… well… with a doll. It’s all very strange yet for some reason it works. It’s becoming more and more clear that this truly who the former Hannah Montana star has become and it’s not simply an act. While it is likely that the video will cause controversy, (specifically amongst the parents of young girls who look up to Miley) it will certainly garner a lot of attention. After all, Art that isn’t controversial isn’t always effective.
