Today, October 11th, is National Coming Out Day. Throughout my undergraduate experience at a liberal arts university, we were always reminded of National Coming Out Day through their campaigns on campus. I didn’t realize today was that day until I scrolled down my Instagram timeline and saw Martin Washington Jr.’s picture promoting his YouTube video. Martin is the current star of a recently released LGBT film titled Alaska Is A Drag. I hope this post and video will spark a dialogue amongst those members of the LGBT community who frequent our blog in addition to those who are not and have an opinion. Check it out and comment!
