Tracee Ellis Ross and the cast of black-ish have much to celebrate this weekend. The debut of their new comedy was ratings gold. 10.7 million viewers tuned in. To put that in perspective, their lead-in show Modern Family had 11 million viewers. Modern Family is in its sixth season and has racked up tons of Emmy’s.

Ross stopped by the world’s most dangerous morning show, The Breakfast Club. She spoke on Girlfriends, black-ish, race in America, her “cakes”, and Lil Wayne’s verse on “Pass Me the Hookah”. Its a great interview! Watch it below:
