Just days before Adele’s release of her album,’25,’ she debuts a ballad, ‘When we were young.’ She gave fans a preview of the song Sunday on 60 minutes, but released the full song this morning.
The song is one of reflection, taking listeners back to a memory after reuniting with a past love. And as the song starts off with a softer sound, Adele introduces her strong vocals, belting out those powerful words toward the end.
